Art
Great News! There is a new Saxe Art Show hung throughout the hallways featuring the talented 7th & 8th-grade students. Please take the time to wander through our hallways to appreciate the fine craftsmanship and effort that went into these pieces. The variety of materials and projects is awesome. Taking in this fresh show is a great way to kick off the spring season! Don’t forget – the show continues down the new wing as well. Thanks to: Mrs. Sailer, Mrs. Bennett, Mrs. Beatman, Mrs. Pennoyer, & Mrs. Duncan
Here is a sneak peek at some of the work:
Digital Citizenship
As a part of our grade 8 Digital Citizenship course, counselors co-teach a lesson with social studies teachers. This lesson focused on the balance of social media in our lives. Students considered whether or not technology was a positive, neutral or negative force in our lives today. They also read statistics about digital media and reflected on their own use of technology use.
